1-What is the purpose of the ECD Fair, and who is it intended for?
The ECD Fair promotes play as a vital way for children to learn and grow, fostering skills and connections. It encourages parent involvement, provides a platform for government and service providers to improve early childhood development, and offers child-centric businesses opportunities to connect with parents, schools, and partners, enhancing the field.
2-When and where will the ECD Fair take place?
The ECD Fair will be held from 10 am to 10 pm at Umm Al Emarat Park in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
3-How can I register for the ECD Fair?
To register for the ECD Fair, simply complete the registration form on the fair's website. Once registered, you can collect your badge from the booth at the fair.
4-What are the admission fees, if any?
Admission to the Fair is free of charge.
5-What types of out-of-school activities will be showcased at the Fair?
The Fair spans three days, offering a range of engaging activities and interactive workshops. Here, children will play to learn and discover the path to growth. The categories cover academic achievement, technology and media, health and wellness, Arabic language, art and culture, as well as sports and physical activities.
6-Is the Fair suitable for children of all ages, including infants and toddlers?
While the primary focus of the fair is children aged 0 to 8 years old, it warmly welcomes families and children of all ages.
7-Will there be food and refreshments available at the Fair?
The Fair will feature a variety of food vendors, including healthy options.
8-Are wheelchairs accessible at the venue?
Wheelchairs will be available in limited quantities and will be offered on a first-come first-served basis.
9-Is there parking available at the venue?
Yes, Umm Al Emarat Park’s parking is available for the Fair’s attendees. (We can maybe put a map showing where the parking is)
10-Are there changing facilities for babies or toddlers?
Umm Al Emarat Park is equipped with changing rooms located in the restrooms.
11-What are the Fair's operating hours, and is there a schedule of events available?
The fair is open from 10 AM to 10 PM. You can access the Fair's agenda on our website for viewing or downloading.
12-Will there be workshops or talk sessions at the Fair, and how can I sign up for them?
Registration to all workshops and talk sessions will be done at the door.
13-Are there any restrictions on bringing outside food and drinks to the Fair?
Outside food is not permitted inside Umm Al Emarat Park with exception to water bottles and small snacks for children.
14-Are there any restrictions on bringing pets to the Fair?
Pets and animals are not allowed inside Umm Al Emarat Park.
15- Can I use public transportation to and from the Park?
Public transportation is available at the Park- you can either stop at the taxi line directly in front of the main entrance or the nearby bus stop.
